Dear Friends,
As 2024 fades into the rearview, we find ourselves deeply reflective—grateful for the lessons, growth, and resilience this year demanded. It was a year of iteration and evolution, both for us as individuals and for Massive as a company. We experimented, we stumbled, and we found clarity in the chaos. Through it all, we were reminded of the power of persistence, community, and purpose.
This year taught us five key lessons, some of them hard-earned:

All plans are theories.
What works in the lab rarely survives the battlefield unchanged. 2024 reinforced the importance of adaptability—making moves, learning fast, and recalibrating without ego -
Opportunity often arrives as loss.
We were shocked and saddened by the outcome of the 2024 election, a gut-punch that reminded us how far we have to go. But we’re not retreating. If anything, our resolve to shake the system and rebuild it from the inside out is stronger than ever. -
The heart is smarter than the mind.
This year, we trusted our intuition more; letting plans stay fluid while leaning into the wisdom of the heart when the road ahead felt murky and uncertain. -
The wall between business and social issues is a convenient illusion.
Business is personal. It's political. It's human. The lines people try to draw? They’re just excuses to avoid discomfort. We’re tearing those walls down brick by brick. -
Everything is evolving, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Growth often happens in the quiet moments—between the headlines and the wins. This year, we learned to honor the slow burn of transformation as much as the fireworks.
Looking ahead, 2025 feels like a wide-open canvas, and we’re painting it bold. Here are four goals we’re committed to next year:
